Quick and Easy Gluten-Free Holiday Side Dishes:
Something that I am not about, is spending my entire holiday sweating in the kitchen and not spending it with my family.
That's why I LOVE holiday dinner side dishes that are so incredibly simple, in ingredients, in time, and in technique.
That way, I spend more of my band-width, with the ones I love.
Ingredient List:
4 Tablespoons I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!®
2.5 teaspoons minced garlic
1 - 1.5 pounds of fresh brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 - 1.5 teaspoons black pepper
½ teaspoon sea salt
+/- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese and/or gluten-free Italian breadcrumbs
Ingredient Pro Tips:
First off, let's talk about brussel sprouts. For this recipe to be top-notch, you need to purchase, top-notch fresh, bright green brussel sprouts.
I recommend buying them at your local Publix for fresh, high quality produce.
Remove them from the stem, and cut them in half.
If your brussel sprouts are extremely large, you may need to slice them in quarters versus in half so that they cook appropriately on the inside and don't burn their delicious outsides.
Another thing to think about is the butter that you use. For this recipe, I use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!®.
It's got all the flavor of butter, I can swap it out in a 1:1 ratio, and I can cook with it just like I would butter!
When you don't want to give up foods you love or ignore your cravings, look for tasty versions of the foods you love so you can have great tasting food without any compromises.
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® is known for its buttery taste, has good fats from plant-based oils, and contains omega-3 ALA.
Easy Directions:
