Gluten-Free Honey Garlic BBQ Glaze

Jump to Recipe

BBQ Glaze is a delicious sauce that you’ll want to drizzle over everything, including chicken, beef, pork, and meatballs!  Honey and garlic are the background flavors to this incredibly easy sauce!  And you know what???  You probably already have all the ingredients you need to make the glaze in your kitchen right now!

I put this BBQ glaze on or in everything.  Well maybe not everything, but a TON of things like:

  • Bourbon BBQ Shredded Beef
  • BBQ Chicken + Pineapple Foil Packets
  • Grilled BBQ Bacon
  • Crock Pot Shredded BBQ Chicken
  • Korean BBQ Beef Tacos
  • Spicy Cranberry Bacon BBQ Meatballs

What’s so special about this BBQ Glaze sauce?

I’m just going to start this one off from the get-go.  This gluten-free honey garlic- inspired BBQ glaze is the bees knees y’all! It’s sweet  thanks to the naturally-sweetened honey and the jam, it’s garlicky (and spicy if you wish), and fresh tasting all at the same time.  And I bet you have all the ingredients to make it in your pantry right now!  I did.   No grocery store today!

I feel that I also need to explain these pictures.  You are probably wondering what the heck is in the jar of BBQ glaze.  Well, the honest truth is…

…The truth is that I was making some of my Bacon Cheddar Meatballs and I was too lazy to sift through every meatball to get a good photo shot of the BBQ glaze that is the delicious base for that recipe amongst many many other recipes.

Oh good, the comment section appeared! Now I can say how delicious this sounds. 🙂 I love the idea of combining the hoisin sauce with jam….especially the idea of using it in the crock pot! My daughter is gluten free and veggie so this sauce is going on tofu slices as well. Thanks, J!

Thanks so much for informing me of the issue! I’m not sure what went wrong there, but glad that it’s fixed. The glaze is truly a great one in my family’s eyes. I bet it would taste wonderful on tufu as well! Thanks for stopping in Wendy!
