Best No-Bake S'more Cake:
I'm gonna get right to this one and say that this is one fun recipe!
I was craving s'mores but wanted a fun different rendition that I hadn't seen before.
I call it a no-bake s'more cake, but is it more like s'more brittle?
Or S'more bruschetta?
Who knows, but no-bake s'more cake rhymed {so.....reasons}.
Anyways, I digress. This is a fun recipe to do with the kiddos.
I will warn you that melty drizzly chocolate could get a little messy if it's in the wrong hands.
Heck, it was messy in my hands
Who am I kidding, my kitchen/self is/are always a mess after I'm done cooking.
But drizzling that melty chocolate {and licking off the spatula!}, and adding your favorite sprinkles, chocolate chips, fruit, or nuts, makes it one quick and easy cooking project.
And I tell ya, it takes me five minutes to put together!
Cleanup is also a breeze.
I like to make my no-bake s'more cake on a cookie sheet or at least some parchment paper.
That way when the chocolate drizzling gets a little crazy, no biggie, no biggie at all!
But you can also put this s'more cake together on a party platter, the chocolate drizzle comes off easily in hot soapy water.
Just keep that in mind if those little fingers are going to be eating the no-bake s'more cake as well as helping you decorate it.
S'more Cake Ingredients:
- gluten-free graham crackers
- Gluten-free marshmallows
- chocolate chips, I used semi-sweet morsels!
- white chocolate chips
- sprinkles, candies, nuts, dried fruit as garnish! (I used gluten free sprinkles, gluten free red hot candies, and gluten free chopped peanuts!)
How to make a S'mores Cake:
- Configure your graham crackers. Lay your graham crackers down on a baking sheet or large piece of parchment paper in the shape of a rectangle/cake.
- Place your marshmallows. Sprinkle and scatter the marshmallows on top of the graham crackers.
- Drizzle the chocolate. Melt your 2 cups chocolate chips according to package directions and drizzle over the entire cake surface.
- Sprinkle toppings. Sprinkle with white chocolate chips, and your favorite sprinkles, candies, nuts, and dried fruit.
- Let chocolate harden. Let sit for a few minutes for the chocolate to set. Enjoy!
What to serve s'more cake on:
I like to plate my smores cake on a vintage baking sheet or a holiday-themed platter if I have one available to me.
Clean up is easy, just sneak your baking sheet or platter that you served the cake on, into your dishwasher.
The chocolate and sprinkles will wash off in the hot water of the dishwasher. Easy peasy!
How to store leftover S'mores Cake:
You can store leftover s'more cake in an airtight container once your s'mores cakes' chocolate has cooled and hardened.
The airtight container can be kept out at room temperature for up to 4-5 days, but it likely won't last that long before it's gobbled up!
