5 easy ingredients and 5 minutes of prep work with a hand mixer make an extremely soft and creamy bourbon ice cream with dark brown sugar and infused with bourbon. It's the perfect summer treat, sprinkled with your favorite toppings. The bourbon helps keep the ice cream very soft {because the liquor doesn't entirely freeze} straight out of the freezer for immediate snacking. No waiting needed!

Best Booze-y Ice Cream Ever!
After the No-Churn Chocolate Chip Ice Cream went over so big earlier this year, I decided that I may need to have more ice cream ready for when my family comes back into town for a quick stop-over {plus, it's kinda this thing called National Ice Cream Month coming up, so these no-churn ice cream recipes are pretty legit}.
When my parents come in to town, the time spent with them usually involves grilled foods, yummy snacks, and booze {the actual order of events goes like... booze, then snacks, then "hey, I'm still hungry, y'all wanna grill?"}.
Bourbon in Ice Cream?
So I decided, why not combine a couple of those things and streamline the day?!?
So I made this creamy Bourbon and Brown Sugar Ice Cream and topped it with pecans (I've also topped it with peanuts and walnuts before too!)
What's better than snacks and booze?
So some of y'all are putting up red flags right now because of the booze. I hear the flags flapping in the wind already. Stop and put your flags down for a sec and let me explain.
For starters, there is only a shot and a half of liquor in the entire recipe that will feed 6-8 people. Secondly, the booze is a major flavor factor here.
The bourbon cuts some of the sweetness out and replaces it with a warm, mellowed vibe.
It also keeps this no-churn ice cream very creamy and soft, because like I said before, the liquor doesn't exactly freeze all the way.

Store your leftover (yah right?!?) ice cream in an airtight freezer-safe food container or a ice cream storage bin like my favorite ice cream storage container!
Bourbon Ice Cream Summary:

Yes, we have a little kitchen with little cabinet space, so we don't have room to fit in an ice cream maker. No-churn is our only choice, and I am okay with that! This ice cream is my fav of all time! 🙂
