Air Fryer to Use:
I absolutely love my air fryer! I highly recommend you check out OMORC’s selection of air fryers.
I have the OMORC 6 Quart Air Fryer. There is now a newer model of this appliance.
It’s big enough to definitely feed a family of 4+. Some air fryers are so tiny that you can barely make enough of something to fill a coffee cup up with.
I love that the parts that need to be washed are dishwasher safe, so clean up is so incredibly easy! It’s a HUGE perk of this thing.
This air fryer has got a pretty simple yet intuitive touchscreen that allows you to not only easily set your temperature and time, but there are other functions like the “keep warm” button that can come in really handy.
If you are looking into an all-in-one countertop cooking appliance, then check out Ninja's Foodi Grill!
It can air fry, roast, indoor grill, dehydrate, and much more!
We use our Foodi Grill almost every day of the week and has a special place in my heart!
How to Air Fry Corn Dogs:
Cooking your corn dogs in the air fryer couldn't be any easier!
Mini Corn Dog Directions:
For mini corn dogs, simply place the mini corn dogs in the bottom of your air fryer basket - making sure that your mini corn dogs do not touch one another or the sides of the air fryer.
Set your Air fryer to 380*F for 4 minutes, then flip your mini corn dogs over, and cook at 380*F for another 4 minutes.
Remove them from the air fryer and serve them while still warm (but give them 1-2 minutes to cool off before biting into them as they will be hot!).
Corn Dogs on a Stick Directions:
For regular-sized corn dogs on a stick, place them on the bottom of the air fryer basket, making sure that they do not touch one another.
Set your air fryer to 38*F and cook for 5 minutes, then flip your corn dogs over.
Cook at 380*F for another 4-5 minutes, then allow the corn dogs to cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
How to Cook Corn Dogs In the Air Fryer:
Make sure that your corn dogs, no matter if they are the full-size corn dogs on a stick or they are the mini corn dogs that are stickless - you will want to make sure that your corn dogs are not touching one another or touching the sides of the air fryer basket.
You will also not want to add any oil or cooking spray on to or in to your corn dogs or air fryer basket.
Corn dogs, once heated by the air fryer, will release their own oil or grease from the inside.
You will notice a small amount of shiny liquid in the air fryer basket once done frying - that's the grease from the hot dog inside and the sweet doughy outside that seeped out during the cooking process!
How to Store Your Leftovers:
You can store your leftover corn dogs in a food-safe airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
You will want to make sure that your air fried corn dogs have cooled down to room temperature before you store them away in the fridge.
To reheat your chilled leftover corn dogs, simply place the leftover dogs in the bottom of your air fryer, set the air fryer to 350*F and cook for 1-3 minutes - depending on the number of corn dogs you are reheating at once and how hot you like your leftovers!
