Dark chocolate pomegranate bites are the perfect quick and easy appetizer or sweet snack for the holiday season! Melted dark chocolate is sprinkled with pomegranate arils and sea salt before being allowed to harden and quickly disappear. Perfectly paired with a great glass of red wine and good friends!
Oh y’all!!!
Do I have a good one (and EXTREMELY easy one!) for ya today!
Just look at these dark chocolate pomegranate bites and tell me these don’t look delicious!
These bites are perfect for all of your upcoming holiday parties.
They are easy to pick up, contagious to bite into with the melty smooth chocolate, the juicy pomegranate arils with their touch of crunch, and the crisp sea salt to finish off every bite.
Did I mention that they take under 5 minutes to make so if you are anything like me and usually late to all of these holiday parties (I mean my hair isn’t going to curl itself!), then this is the recipe for you!
I’ve done my market research and results are in that these little bites are perfect with a great bottle of red wine and some good friends, so if you don’t have a holiday party as an excuse to make these, invite girlfriends over or have a date night with the mister like I did the first time I made these.
I also made these dark chocolate pomegranate bites over Thanksgiving and there was a fight that broke out across my kitchen island as to who was getting the last three.
So plan on making many or breaking up kitchen fights. You’ve been warned.

The bites were paired with Beaujolais Nouveau.
The 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau displays a shimmering carmine color, fresh aromas of red and black fruits, strawberry jam, with hints of peach on the nose.
It is fresh, fruity and flavorful on the palate with a delicious finish and best served slightly chilled.
Harvesting of this wine is done manually, in whole bunches, from vines that are over 20 years old and I hear that it’s also delicious paired with barbecued meats and cheese.
