Spicy Gluten-Free Slow Cooker Chicken And Dumplings

2cans GF cream of chicken*10.5oz
2cans GF chicken broth**just use the cans from the cream of chicken to measure
1/2tspcracked black pepper
3/4cupGF homemade "Bisquick Mix"***
1/3cupmilk or buttermilkwe use buttermilk
Parsley and crushed red pepper flakes to garnish
Place a crock pot liner on your crockpot. Place the chicken, carrot, cream of chicken, chicken broth, cayenne, black pepper, and paprika in the crockpot and cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-9 hours.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, make the dumpling dough by combining the homemade GF "Bisquick mIx", buttermilk, egg, and butter together in a large bowl. Form the dough into egg-sized balls and lightly drop each dumpling into the crockpot with the chicken. Cover and cook the last 30 minutes.
