Here is an update on my spring backyard entertaining post I did a few weeks ago with Roundup® For Lawns, our sponsor. I am sharing updates on what has worked for us in hopes to inspire you to get you enjoying your backyard this year!
We had really bad storms here in Atlanta a few weeks ago and so we have been mending fences that fell.
And cutting up tree trunks that toppled.
And fixing parts of the barn that were damaged.
But we’ve been doing some fun things to in preparation for a fun summer outside!
I’ve been creating flower beds outside and planting flowers and bushes to fill them up.
The frivolous palm tree was a necessity while I was at the nursery picking out plants.
Everyone needs a palm tree in their yard… right???
Don’t answer that. That was my thinking.
It’s done. He’s planted. We have a palm tree in our yard.
I’ve managed to start my container herb garden with all the necessities… basil, rosemary, thyme, cilantro, and dill.
I have my container garden raised on some shelving in hopes that the animals, both wild and domestic (ahem puppies!), don’t get into them.
I’ve also been using my fair share of Roundup® For Lawns.
…. because we live on acres and acres of a horse farm…. that used to be full of weeds.
But Roundup® for Lawns is an easy option, so instead of having to spend a ton of time ridding my yard of weeds, I can focus on the fun stuff…
Like planting my garden and buying a second palm tree.
Just kidding…. or am I??? 😉
It couldn’t be any easier to apply and there is no mess to clean up afterward.
And the best part of it is that IT WORKS. It really does. It kills the weeds and not the lawn. I just applied it to my yard, let the product work it’s magic, and BOOM… the weeds were no longer but my grass was still happy as could be.
There are special Roundup For Lawns formulas for northern and southern regions, created specifically to handle different grass types.
No more guessing which product you need either. Your local retailer is stocked with the formula that is best-suited for the grass types in your area (but always double check the product for approved grass types)!
Now for the fun part…. start enjoying your backyard! Thanks for stopping in friends!
I partnered with Roundup For Lawns, a brand I personally recommend to friends and family for this post. Thank you for continuing to support me, BHHY, and the brands that help make this site possible.
