Bourbon is neatly blended with apple cider and orange juice over a mug of ice and raw sugars. Sweet enough to guzzle, stiff enough to sip. A chilled fall drink that’s the perfect blend of sweet and manly, fantastic as a swift Fall drink in the warm southern states.

Boy do I have a boozy doozy for ya today {I’m mean…it’s Friday…and five o’clock comes right after four o’clock…so…..}!  I am so excited that it’s the weekend, with another road trip happening as we speak {oh hey….feel free to creep along and see where I am via Instagram}!  And what fun-filled weekend is had without fun-lovin’ spirits?

Our last road trip just two weeks ago, included this Bourbon Cider Sour and we have been talking about it’s existence ever since first sip. The combination of the bourbon and apple, and the orange juice and sugars…it’s definitely very sippable {and by that I mean it’s damn delicious}.

Fall in the South is still very warm, so sometimes you get the hankerin’ for a fall beverage but don’t want the heat that comes with it.  This Bourbon Cider Sour is the perfect fit for a cool refreshing fall drink for those hot southern fall rendezvous.

I will definitely be saving this one for the fall, it sounds perfect! In Sonoma we have so many awesome distilleries and cider makers. I will be making this one with Sonoma Brothers Bourbon and Tilted Shed Cider for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the drinks! I purchased the cups from Bed Bath and Beyond for $10 a piece. They have a few different styles in store. I had to ask an associate where they were in the store because they are not where you think they should be (they were in the bedding section. Weird!)
