Hey y’all! I have been asked to blog about my workout routine (horseback riding and running are my exercises of choice) multiple times, and I promise that I will soon…ish. But what I can deliver to you right now, is what I wear when I go on my runs jogs (who am I kidding?). So here’s a little simple jogging attire:
Y’all are in luck! I went on one of my runs and captured my outfit post-jog, sans makeup and hair products. Lucky you. Girl was sweaty and gross. I don’t dress up to workout, I don’t own a gym membership, and I do prefer to be outside when kicking my own a$$.
Since the majority of the year in Georgia tends to be on the warmer side, I run in a lot of sports bras and running shorts or pants. The cooler the better. Cool Runnings (I LOVE that movie y’all!) dude.
I love Nike and Avia, as I find them the most affordable, comfortable, and reliable when it comes to active tops and bottoms.
My eyes are super sensitive to light and wind, so athletic shades (the kind that actually stay put on your sweaty moving face) are a must.
I recently got my first pair of Ryka trainers. I think that your shoes are the most important piece of your running ensemble sweetie pies and these shoes are great! Lightweight and comfortable (I have a hard time finding comfy running shoes since my feet are a bit on the wider side).
So far I would say that these are one of the most comfortable running shoes that I’ve owned. Maybe because it has RE-SORB with built-in pivot points (Zumba class anyone?!?) and Ultra-flex soles (for natural foot flexion) or maybe its that Ryka is a women’s only sport company, so they know a girl’s foot y’all! I’ve only been in them for a few short weeks, so only time will tell, but so far, so good y’all.
Don’t forget a reliable no-dent hair tie that stays put and possibly some pump-you-up tunes, and that’s all I wear dolls. Pretty simple jogging get-up huh? Sometimes simple is better.

|Peace out. Going home.|
Full Disclosure: Pieces of this outfit were either gifted to me in exchange for this post or I was compensated by said company for my time. But trust me y’all, everything that I post about is all my own, including my thoughts, comments, quirks, and reviews.
